PFConfig is an easy-to-use program that allows you to forward network ports from one network node to another (this is usually called port forwarding or tunneling). PFConfig requires knowing which router you are using, thus it incorporates a list of routers where you have to select the one you own. Some routers may not be supported but you can request for help if your router is not in list. You have to select the router's manufacturer and model - you need to provide the router user name and password in order to log into it. Once your router is selected, you can choose which applications will be forwarded. PFConfig includes a big list of applications. If your application is not in list, you can update the application list from the web or add the application manually. To add applications manually, you have to know the Application TCP and UDP ports. The program also includes two useful tools: “Network Info”, which allows you to get your ports forwarded; and “Network scan”, that allows you to locate all the computers connected to your network.
